Professional Technology Training

Philosophy: All training modules will be grounded in the belief that training should be continuous and ongoing and in a variety of learning environments. Additionally, all training modules strive to offer trainer guided learning and hands-on practice experience. All learning modules are structured with the curriculum integration ideas, practice sessions and the ability to have printable cheat sheets. All trainers have previously held teaching certificates and have classroom experience which helps them relate the technology to actual classroom instruction.

As former k-12 certified educators, we have a passion for technology, as well as for helping other educators integrate technology into their classrooms. We approach training with the belief that it should be meaningful, hands on, and fun! As the distinguished “Ladies in Pink”, we are excited to be able to offer the highest quality and most diverse training available!

Our Training Modules

Train the Trainer Model
District trainers will be trained to use the technology and also how to train others in their school or district. Based on ISTE’s National Educational Technology Standards as well as the teachings of Chris Moersh’s Levels of Technology Integration. Participants receive a trainer resource kit and complete an implementation plan for their school/district. Role playing is utilized as well as both collaborative and independent activities.

Our workshops are designed to train either a small group or a large group to use a specified technology product. These workshops can be highly customized to meet the need of the participants.

Computrac offers specialized training camps designed to assist a teacher, school or district accomplish their technology goals.

Format Details Onsite Training: Offered at the school location Asynchronous Training Using the Moodle Course Management System: Self paced courses which are facilitated by one of our certified trainers. These courses include video and audio tutorials. See more: http://computrac.crteacher.com/ Training at our offices: Offered onsite at our Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky offices. Synchronous Training Using Webex: One hour sessions, which allow for up to 25 participants per session and are recordable which can be used by the trainers in the train the trainer module. Computrac Trainer Online Community: Designed to be a fun online community where teachers can share everything from pictures to lesson plans. See more
